Jazzical Fusion at Mystic Aquarium

Looking for a way to unwind after work? Mystic Aquarium welcomes renowned music director and conductor of the U.S. Congressional Philharmonic Society, Martin Piecuch, as he entwines styles of Classical, Jazz, Baroque and Samba for a night of “Jazzical Fusion”.

Join on us on Sunday, August 11 for Jazzical Fusion featuring live music by Martin Piecuch, food for purchase and cash bar. Listen to music outdoors in front of our beluga whales, as Piecuch’s light and fluttering notes of the soprano and alto saxophone, flute, piccolo and bass flute resonate throughout Mystic Aquarium, creating a relaxing, awe-inspiring environment.

About the artist:

Piecuch was born in Maine and became a saxophone soloist with the U.S. Marine Band. He has a Bachelor of Music degree in every woodwind instrument and a Master of Music degree in Orchestral Conducting from Catholic University of America. Piecuch has conducted 800 performances and close to 25 musicals with renownedl orchestras and jazz bands such as the Washington Symphony Orchestra, the Krasnoyarsk Symphony Orchestra in Siberia, and the Danville Symphony Orchestra. He is the music director and conductor of the USA Ballet and the PALA Opera Association and was a music director of Aldersgate Choir which he conducted on a tour through Germany, Austria and Hungary.
